Adequate nutrient reserves established during infancy can support growth during puberty and adulthood. Historically, between 1989 and 2004, approximately 40 million out of 211 million toddlers worldwide suffered from malnutrition. The increasing number of under-fives who are malnourished is due to the lack of a balanced diet. This study aimed to assess parents' knowledge regarding the provision of complementary foods to infants aged 9-12 months. The study population consisted of parents with toddlers attending PMB Bd. Titin Widyaningsih. A pre-test questionnaire was administered to participants prior to an educational session on complementary feeding for infants aged 9-12 months. A post-test questionnaire was subsequently administered to evaluate the impact of the educational intervention. A total of 20 parents participated in the study. Results revealed that a significant proportion of parents demonstrated a good level of knowledge prior to the intervention. However, post-intervention analysis indicated a further increase in knowledge among participants, with the number of parents possessing good knowledge rising from 16 (80%) to 19 (95%). The findings of this study suggest that the educational intervention effectively enhanced parents' knowledge regarding the provision of complementary foods to infants aged 9-12 months.</p>2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Dwi Khalisa Putri, Indah Istikhomah, Ega Febriantihttps://journal.polita.ac.id/index.php/abdi/article/view/232PENDAMPINGAN TATA KELOLA USAHA BERBASIS DIGITAL PADA KELOMPOK UMKM MAKANAN RINGAN2024-11-22T03:37:23+00:00Dinar Melani Hutajuludinarmelani@untidar.ac.idAndhatu Achsaandhatuachsa@untidar.ac.idIis Sugiartiiis.sugiarti@students.untidar.ac.id<p>Snack entrepreneurs in Ngargogondo Tourism Village already have various business products. However, many students lack the necessary skills and knowledge to produce quality scientific publications. This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of undergraduate accounting students at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) to write and publish scientific articles. The activity was conducted online via Zoom on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, involving 82 participants from fifth-semester students as participants. Using a participatory training approach, the program covered topics such as structuring articles, selecting journals, and submission processes. The training results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and confidence in writing scientific articles, as evidenced by post-training evaluations. Despite challenges like limited time and technical constraints, this program has successfully provided the initial foundation for fostering a culture of academic writing among students. It is recommended to implement follow-up activities, such as advanced training and intensive mentoring, to ensure sustainable outcomes.</p>2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Dessy Ekaviana, Febrina Nur Ramadhani, Atik UI Mussanadah, Caraka Hadi, Tri Susilo Wahyu Ajihttps://journal.polita.ac.id/index.php/abdi/article/view/245EFEKTIVITAS PENYULUHAN TENTANG ASI EKSKLUSIF TERHADAP PERUBAHAN PENGETAHUAN IBU MENYUSUI DI WILAYAH KERJA UPTD PUSKESMAS PAHANDUT 2024-11-14T03:28:15+00:00Aditya Zelina Fifieadityazelinafifie98@gmail.comAnita Anitaadityazelinafifie98@gmail.comIstiqamah Istiqamahadityazelinafifie98@gmail.comZulliati Zulliatiadityazelinafifie98@gmail.com<p>Breast milk (ASI) is the main and best food for babies, because it contains many nutrients that babies need. Breast milk can protect babies from allergies, obesity, digestive tract infections and respiratory tract infections. Apart from that, breast milk can also shape the development of intelligence and emotional development, can increase the body's endurance and can reduce the risk of death in babies. This activity aims to determine the effectiveness of education about exclusive breastfeeding on changes in knowledge of breastfeeding mothers. The method used is quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design) using a one group pre-posttest design. Based on the results of the paired t test, the mean in the pre-test group was 64 and in the post-test group was 85 with a mean differential between the two groups of 15.1. The p value is 0.00, so the p value is <0.05, so we get the difference in the average (mean) before and after the counseling about exclusive breastfeeding is given, so it can be interpreted that there is an influence of providing counseling about exclusive breastfeeding on the knowledge of breastfeeding mothers in the work area.
