Anemia is common in Plasmodium-infected patients and severe malaria anemia is a major cause of death in patients. Two main mechanisms cause anemia in malaria: hemolysis of uninfected and infected erythrocytes and insufficient erythropoiesis.

Secondary data were obtained from examination blanks in the form of age and gender while primary data were carried out direct examination in the form of species identification examination and hemoglobin examination. Data analysis method using univariate analysis.

Result: Malaria patients aged adolescents as much as 43.3%, male 56.7% and infected with tropical malaria type 50%. The results of the most cross-distribution of low hemoglobin in adolescents 30%, male 36.7% and tropical malaria 36.7%.
